Re-Return of the Ex

This EX. It's back as I never had a chance to take it last time (after all that fuss). The happiness didn't last for too long. Now it's in April and I am freaking out! No time left to cram it all. How can I waste my time studying, when there is so much going on around me? I have suddenly rediscovered (over the past few weeks, sitting in front of study material) my love for reality shows, photography, neighbors, interior decoration, exploring the city and reconnecting with old friends.

My only hope- knowledge transfer while I sleep.

Warning- Trying this stunt at home may lead to stiff neck as discovered by author of this blog. It is advisable to study.

Exactly what I feel during exams. The world becomes more beautiful and everything seems more interesting. Anything to "not study"! Good luck on the KT.

d.n.a. - I ll pretend I did nt understand ;)

aNTi - Pretend that you understand ;)

yellow! waat is all this going on I say? I will complain to Alpha maami!! maami inga paarungoo...yevverybody (DNA uncle and ANTI uncle)is taking double meaning! aiiyoooo rama!

Try one book at a time. With so many books your brain might get confused and you may end up writing answers of one subject in some other subject. Also, it will avoid a stiff neck. ;)

Rhyncus said...

Try three stacks of progressively increasing height. Ensure larger books (on basis of cover surface area) at bottom. The thick ones can be used as arm rests, one on each side. Bye bye Stiffnecks. Hello Peace. And osmosis, hopefully.

Alpha said...

shud: yeah, dont go around saying you'll take stiff anything. dna might make you a stiff cup of coffee or something. isn't that what u meant machi?!

hardu: one ook at a time? comon, there is so much to be tranfered in every book..how is it possible? didnt you know osmosis is a slow process.

ryncus: why would my arms need to know this stuff?

fishy: I AM SO GLAD You still persist. When I blocked them darn anons, I was hoping you (and a few others whom I like) wouldn't run away. all those anons can fall off the cliff for all I care and when they are in the process I hope their identities flash before them. never ever thought I needed to tighten security around here. we live in maadren days fishy!

I have passed so many exmas that way. That has always been my last resort. IT WORKS man!

Alpha said...

amitl, chittu, boo: danks. Why arent you guys writing exams..not fair!!!

Kowshic said...

Anti maams, saw alpha's response? Gotcha? I was only referring to some strong "kickass" coffee or tea or something ;)

shub:Don't diss alpha. She is yekkov for one and all. And, I took only one meaning from it :))I don't misinterpret.

Kowshic said...

And oh yeah, shubs, the name is DNA, plain simple DNA. No prefixes please, especially the one you called me, my heart can't bear it!

Have you seen the movie "kanni raasi". I'm feeling like janakraj, right now.

Mrudula Sreekanth said...

Alpha: You woke up before 5 to study?? Wow! What determination! On 2nd seconds I wonder if you are really studying. :P

DNA:What are you doing at 5:45 in the morning???

Mrudula Sreekanth said...

Ah.. I see now! The clock setting is wrong. It is not 5:45 afterall. It is infact 7:45. Now I am at peace. I never woke up at 5 in the morning to study after Engg days, so I was kind of worried!

shub said...

okay DNA, no suffix no prefix...but ANTI uncle,as bad a pj as it might be, sounds rather cool, no?!
and no, I havent watched taht movie? should I? I do know what janakaraj looks like, so I think its safe to picture u like him?

alpha akka, pliss to adjust that we are having irrelevant conversations on ur blog :)

Kowshic said...

Irrelevant converstations? Thats all this blog is about. So, don't worry. I strongly suggest you to watch the movie. Goundamani, Prabhu, Janakaraj, it's a laught riot. You can thank me later.

Me said...

phew....ivalo dhana...ask pi to read everything & u write the exam in munnabahi istyle....:p

shub said...

hehe Prabhu..i like...i like..roly poly... :D
only goundamani, no senthil?! :O

Mrudula Sreekanth said...

alpha: I can see a new romance blossoming. Can you see it too? ;)

Alpha said...

me: My only wish is Pi finish his studies first... then he can worry abt social service.

Its getting hard to filter relevant comments here. Of course Dna, yours are th emost relevantest...esp when you have made my blog your kadalai depository... or flirting grounds.

Hardu, my condolances. I hope you had an exciting ride so far... you have no chance with someone who can speak gaundamani and senthil. If I were you, I'd be slightly relieved.

shub, you are in the right track if you like roly poly.

B o o said...

Alpha, anything to make you feel better. With my driving classes going the way they are, I might be the only person to take an exam after getting a license. Will do? :)
*Now where is auNTi "Uncle"?* LOL! ;)

Kowshic said...

Shub, this is one movie where goundar sir rocks by himself! It also has a petite revathy.

Hardu, I tell you you have a bright future if you'll just say "narayana! narayana"!

Alpha, "katrulla podhe thootrikoL". Neenga sonna maraukkava mudiyum!

GratisGab said...

Why no comments allowed on the previous post?

That was a very good one.

Mrudula Sreekanth said...

DNA: narayana! narayana! Said it.

Now where is my bright future? I don't see it!

Alwaysvetti said...

Sooper post..ippadi knowledge transfer aayita padikara thevai illa..Narayana ippadi yaen nadakaadhu..

Alpha said...

dna, we discussed this earlier. Tamil is ok as long as you dont transcend into proverbs and poetry. That's where I draw a line... regai.

gabby, guess I am not brave enuf to face more abuse on a post that talks of abuse. Oh well, I think me blocking comments beats the purpose of my preachings to retaliate. I might just open it.

alwaysvetti: are you saying this wont work?

Hardu: Naughty gal.....tch tch tch.. Constantly putting words in people's mouths :p And after doing so, you delete your comment as well! Oh, ya.. I saw it! :D

Alpha: You don't need the abusive comments. Just give them hell personally and any comment from them. And oh, btw. This was one more reason why I never did want comments enabled in the first place. In more than one post I saw weirdos launching into a diatribe (againt the blogger) about "family values" and "dressing right" and what not. The hypocritcal bastards!

Gabby: !!!!! How are ya!!!!!!!! >:D< Might be in your town again this weekend, but gotta be back in NJ by Sunday morning.

Boo: Hmmm....I have only one request for all my friends who are in the "family way" (and that includes at least one commentor here) - Don't introduce me to any kid under 10 as "aNTi". I don't want them confusing other kids by using this nickname followed by "uncle" while boasting about knowing me! I'd rather prefer to be called by my name, or atleast a part of my name if you cannot pronounce my name correctly. The only nickname I'll accept would be Superman! It rhymes with my last name or so people say!

Shub: "aNTi Uncle" would be cool only if I'd still be single at 35 and PYT's between the ages of 21 and 26 ogled at me. That would make be more confident with gals my age. But now, it is totally uncool cos am 26 going on 27 only! And btw, me single at 35 most certainly ain't gonna happen, cos even if my mom in Chennai forgets all about me, Alpha would never let that happen, no? Already I hear that the next time I land in Chicago, there will be a welcoming party of smartly dressed desi gals, dressed their best. And my pal D.N.A, being a Chicago resident and jet setting one to boot is not welcome this time.

anantha said...

YES YES YES.. lets see what Alpha has to say about "Word Veri" NOW!

anantha said...

Err.. on second thoughts, I have to clarify that the previous quotes containing links to "material" was not from me :p

Since one matures with age, I don't deal with any material of the kind linked above.

Kowshic said...

Anti said:"Already I hear that the next time I land in Chicago, there will be a welcoming party of smartly dressed desi gals, dressed their best."

Anti bro, we in our town, call this NPK.

"And my pal D.N.A, being a Chicago resident and jet setting one to boot is not welcome this time."

Don't count on alpha for too long. I'm hearing different things out of Evanston.

Why dont you try making "beshhht" friends with any person who is writing the same exam and gets good grades...and..then..you know what to do..;-)

Mrudula Sreekanth said...

anti: shhh... I got reprimanded (you know by whom)for that comment and hence deleted it. I was scaaared you see. :P

anantha said...

D.N.A: Bah, you mid-west types! In our neck of the woods, as my friend Al terms it, we call it confidence! As for counting on Alpha, we learn from our mistakes. The deed seems to have been done already and Alpha does not know about it. Oh well, now she does!

Hardu: LOL...

Alpha - in case you are going to try Pavan's idea, a litle warning: try one book at a time! :)

Alpha said...

pavan: Don't worry too much. I can see how you might have got fooled. Even if you type a comment for me, Anti replies to it. All this service for free. On top of that, he has a blog of his own too.

Stiff neck is one thing, with your idea..i'll have permanent brain damage for sure.

dna: something is dripping from your pants.

anti, dna and hardu: Do you know the wonders of yahoo messaging?

cherie: Yes PE. you aware?

kutti: :)

You mean word veri works? Methinks you put that comment there just to prove a point. grr..

I'm clueless, less clues than before. At the risk of public humiliation, I don't get it, alpha 'ka. I generally loose my sheen on fridays, like 26 overs old (cricket)ball. So, please indulge me....

Alpha: Sorry, I was scared myself. I don't remember having seen her look like this in Mouna Ragam! Oh wait... hmm..its 20 years since Mouna raagam! Eeks.. if this is what 20 years can do to a individual, I will do a Dorian Gray and not look at any mirror ever! Or a pic, for that matter...
Speaking of pics, do you have an idea of what the market price would be for pic(s) of the anonymous blogger/commentor also known as D.N.A? LOL.. Came across a few while looking at a friend's set on Flickr ;)
Wait, before this descends to juvenile levels (caused no doubt by the blogger and few of her European cronies), I will add that I was *NOT* the photographer and he is fully dressed of course! Hehe..

Unknown said...

Huh? You were not the photographer and he is fully dressed-aa? I am totally confused now, what are you trying to say aNTi that if you were the photographer things would be otherwise? LOL

And yes that was one scary picture, Don't women pay a fortune in the West to get that surprised look?

Alpha said...

anti: gushing abt some guy without clothes is not something i can tolerate without having to make fun of you.

regarding 20 years..need not worry. in your case, things can only get better from here.

anantha said...

WA: I am not trying to say anything that is remotely close to any of the mental images that you seemed to have formed on your mind.
