An Ode to thee

Thanks dear. In response-

Roses are red
Violets are blue
Here's a little secret
I invested in you

The little things I buy
The small bills I pay
Is like watering a plant
That’ll bear fruit one day

You eat Ramen noodles
You pig on Nacho cheese
Your student way of life
Has made cooking a breeze

My in-laws are in awe of me
My parents give me sympathy
‘If you had let us arrange things,
We'd have found you a crorepathi.’

My friend's husband buys her
Coach bags and Prada gloves
Look, my little brother
Has gone and bought a house

But patience, I said to myself
And nagged you to the core
If you take another year
I'll fling the TV from the door

Folks, it’s the time to celebrate
My patience has finally paid
Six years of waiting
Now my dividends are made

You’ve landed a great job
Maybe you'll finish that thesis
Can't wait to blow your money
And yes, I love you to pieces!

Re-Return of the Ex

This EX. It's back as I never had a chance to take it last time (after all that fuss). The happiness didn't last for too long. Now it's in April and I am freaking out! No time left to cram it all. How can I waste my time studying, when there is so much going on around me? I have suddenly rediscovered (over the past few weeks, sitting in front of study material) my love for reality shows, photography, neighbors, interior decoration, exploring the city and reconnecting with old friends.

My only hope- knowledge transfer while I sleep.

Warning- Trying this stunt at home may lead to stiff neck as discovered by author of this blog. It is advisable to study.
