Scenes from Mahabharat at Home-III

Yatra yogeshwara krishna yatra partho dhanurdharaha
Tatra shri vijayo bhutir druvo nitir matir mama

Translation- Where the yogeshwara Krishna who represents vision is present and where Arjuna who represents action is present, then there is success, justice and wealth (and a nagging wife).

I thot the wealth would keep the naggin wife's mouth shut .. guess not !

bh: I think the success, justice and wealth is to be debated.. or maybe it's just a slow process. like you know, i am rooting for the wealth.

and where and who are the kauravas? once the vishvaroopa goes away and arjuna attains all requisite knowledge, will arjuna rain guinness arrows from his gandiva on them?

b.h.:

only ekalavya possessesd that kind of skill (i.e., shuttng an open mouth - please do not take this analogy too far, else i will be in trouble from womenkind!). but drona took away his thumb, and since then this skill/knowledge has become extinct.

- s.b.

p.s.: at this rate, by the time alpha finishes her "mahabharat kii jhalkiyaan," zo will have all requisite knowledge of the hindu epics to convert to our religion. he might even be able to recite the gayathri mantra and the bhagavad gita, forward and in reverse!

s.b: You are assuming too many things here-

1. that Vishwaroopa goes away.
2. that arjuna's actions involve something other than sipping beer, screaming and jumping (if energy allows)
3. that shutting a woman with a thumb was even popular to begin with.
4. that all Hindus possess enough knowledge on Hindu scripture...or that one can convert to Hinduism.

Zo already knew stuff..this is more like an eye opener. *someone pass Arjuna the bottle opener please*

vc: like someone suggested, maybe if I had left a bag of 'Lays' on the table. I did this so that the 18 years and younger people who were lurking around would not come back.

patty: hehe...throw has been thrown in my car trunk for dry cleaning (been sitting there for a year now) man, didn't realise you were interested in the old wife's tales.

This is such a super idea:)

What's with alpha's overactive imagination!! Beer bottles are Gandiva, toilet paper rolls are like Draupadi!! You seem to be hell bent on turning your home into Kurukshetra. Yaar, not such a good idea when Pi is just about to make contributions to the world economy instead of just living off it.
